Privacy policy.

Building the private internet starts with clear choices about your data.

This policy covers safedev.org and project enquiries sent to SafeDev. Our work centres on privacy-first apps and user-owned data. Client products need their own privacy terms.

What you share, and why.

When the enquiry form is available, it asks for the details below. Please leave out passwords, secret keys and private customer records.

Name and email
These identify your enquiry and provide a way to reply about your project.
Company and project brief
Your project type, description, timeline and budget help frame the scope and assess whether SafeDev can help.
Site and security data
Web requests include technical data such as an IP address. Hosting and form services may process it to serve pages and prevent abuse.

How your enquiry is handled.

Purpose and access

Enquiry details support project assessment and follow-up. Submitting a brief does not place it on the Safe Network or make it public.

Services that receive or store the form may process these details. A project agreement may set further data-handling terms.

Storage and safeguards

No online channel is risk-free. Share only what is needed for an initial discussion; agree a suitable channel before sending sensitive files.

Ask about retention and deletion for your enquiry. This notice does not set a fixed storage period for every type of record.

Your data. Your questions.

Depending on the law where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data. You may also object to certain uses or complain to your local data protection authority.

Use the contact page to raise a privacy request when enquiries are open. State your request without sending identity documents. This page may change as site features or data practices change.
